It will cause you to double lose your cases – which is to say, you’ll first lose on the merits, and then you’ll get fined by the court for being a natural born damned fool.

In my seventeen years practicing criminal law, I have only seen such preposterous accusations of crime from pro se litigants and the intractable mentally ill.

It’s almost a shame to provide context, but here you go: apparently there was some sort of scandal going on at a website over whether a particular furniture seller was actually a reseller.  Drama ensued… and an incredibly illiterate cease-and-desist letter that triggered the above response.  I don’t want to really research this one too deeply; I’m getting the impression that I would probably end up sneering at everybody involved, and honestly I’d rather go have a eclair or something.
