My wife had to help out with a SCA demo, so I was running around today doing… :waving hands: stuff. You know. Things that make us more than bears with furniture, as a comedienne once put it. Maybe I need a vacation…

Long drive, mostly (5 hours). The meeting was actually useful, although why we don’t teleconference these things… wait a second.  Why doesn’t the Kingdom of Atlantia teleconference these things?  I mean, geez, it’s almost 2019.  We could have done all of this from home.

I should mention this to somebody.

Anyway, useful day but I’m really tired now. I know, this is very early for me.  Again, long day.

PS: I did figure out how to get that vampire story I had in my head unstuck, though. Eight hundred words, and we’re past the set up and heading towards the confrontation and whatnot.  So, there’s that.  And this one I may end up trying to sell.  I already have an idea for this month’s Patreon.

…from the point of view of child-rearing/development; but a lonnnnnng day. And one that stretched for several hours longer than expected, which is why I’m so behind. So it goes.
