Trying the Kindle Vella experiment (Notes from the 2078 United Nations Antarctic Archaeological Survey).
It’s not published yet, but I put “Notes from the 2078 United Nations Antarctic Archaeological Survey” on Kindle Vella today so that people can at least see it before GHOSTS ON AN ALIEN WIND gets published. The story is set in the same universe, but isn’t necessary to enjoy the novel, or vice versa.
Also… I kind of had to do something publish-y today. They did some new work on my shoulder that helped it dump a fair bit of tension, and apparently that can set off some weird sort of sympathetic emotional release that I wasn’t entirely able to process right away. I’m not really sure how tense muscles can store psychological stuff, but it is apparently a thing. The bottom line was, I needed to get some tangible professional progress going.
