As you can see, I’ll be at Page After Page in October. This will be later in the season – I don’t know if that matters any – and will be on a Saturday instead of a Sunday, which I imagine does. Saw my sister-in-law (and her now-fiancée); bought some mugs; and talked to a vendor there about maybe doing a book signing (in 2023, at the very earliest). It was a good time, but I am not used to walking around for hours. Which is probably at least a strong hint that I should up the distance and duration of my daily walks.
The first in a while for me, really. Gonna go see the sister-in-law and her SO, since she’s visiting. I’m also gonna be wearing regular clothes, because I don’t have the right kind of garb for Renn Faires and I sort of like going incognito, as it were. To quote Peter S Beagle, SCA garb isn’t a costume for me; it’s clothing. I can’t wear Renn Faire stuff without feeling like it’s a costume.
Should be fun!
