He was, in point of fact, correct: I did. Looks like it has a nice, organic progression from the original. Not always easy to do in a sequel.

PS: At some point, you’d think that it’d percolate through: Don’t F*ck With The Ronin. The Japanese know it; we know it (which is why we keep making samurai flicks out of westerns, and vice versa). Hell, the Italians made enough Westerns for us that they probably know it as well. You’d think that this would be more obvious…
