‘Refugee.’
‘You Don’t Know How It Feels.’
‘Mary Jane’s Last Dance.’
This is a really weird video. Really good, but really weird. And creepy as all get-out, of course. Although Kim Basinger loved doing the video because, you know, Tom Petty.
‘Saving Grace.’ (Rest In Peace, Tom Petty)
I figure that I’m not the only person who spent the day listening to Tom Petty songs. Rest in peace, and my prayers for your family and loved ones.
‘You Don’t Know How it Feels.’
Don’t go, Tom.
And on the subject of prayer: tack on one for Tom Petty.
There are conflicting reports on whether he’s passed or not. I figure that either way it couldn’t hurt to pray for Tom Petty’s family and loved ones. They’re going through a tough time regardless, after all.
‘Free Fallin’.’
An old favorite that came on the radio while I was at the drive-thru. I think that I came to a good accommodation with Tom Petty over the chorus by the end of the second verse, but I don’t know if the cashier agreed with me on that. Oh, well. Art is often misunderstood.
‘You Don’t Know How It Feels.’
‘American Girl.’
I want to like this song more than I do.
