It was being touted as a way to get Firefox and Flash on the iPad: but before I blow fifteen bucks on it, I wonder if the state of the art – or, more accurately, the state of working around Steve Jobs’ prejudices – has improved since 2010.

I wonder, now that Jobs is gone, whether Apple will end its foolish feud with Adobe. It seriously holds back the platform. Flash is the Web standard, get over it.
Adobe has stopped work on Flash Player for mobile devices. Apple (Steve) won. Adobe seems to be trying their hardest to kill Flash themselves (charging developers for using specific features – and not new ones), so it looks like its going to be HTML5. It’s just not finished yet.
