Rest in Peace, Leonard Nimoy.

He had a good run.  I know that the subject of his most famous role could be a touchy one for the author, so I’ll avoid being trite about it.  So… my condolences to his family and loved ones.

  1. Er, why? He signed most, if not all, of his tweets with LLAP (Live Long And Prosper). If he hated anything about being Spock, Nimoy didn’t show it in his later years.

So long, Nimoy. You lived long and prospered.

    1. He did write a book “I am not Spock” for a log time he came across as upset at being forever linked to the character. Obviously in the later years he embraced this character.

        1. I saw him speak once. Among other things, he mentioned the way rumors start and extend in Hollywood. The rumor was that in order to film Star Trek 2, Nimoy had it written into his contract that he would die at the end of the movie.

This wasn’t true, but it was a widespread enough rumor that when studio execs were wondering if they could somehow get him to take on the role again, they were certain he hated acting as Spock.
