Did I look up the solution to the Assassin’s Creed 2 puzzle that involved mathematical operations in Sanskrit? You bet your sweet bippy.
Did I verify the jump sequence I couldn’t stick on Mirror’s Edge to make sure I wasn’t missing something and wasting my time? I sure did.
Did I spend 100 omnigel to avoid the puzzle in Mass Effect? In a heartbeat.

    1. Ha!

RE: AC2…I did exactly the same. Sanskrit? Really?! No.

Also, sometimes you feel like a puzzle and sometimes you don’t. I blow ’em off with nary a twinge of guilt or regret.

      1. Oh, I do too, these days, but as someone who played most of the Infocom games back in the day, I kind of miss those days. I think it took me a solid 2 or 3 nights to figure out how to get the f’ing babel fish in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but when I finally had it, I felt like I’d accomplished something. I was this close >< to buying the cheat book for that one.
