[I got really annoyed with what happened to a particular webcomic artist this week, but I can’t figure out how to write about it without breaking my own rules. This is as close as I can respectably get, I think. So, hey, how about the new Independence Day flick, huh?]

Can you tell us who?
I had two quick thoughts on the Independence Day movie. One, Of course the President had to be female, and they had to pick one with a voice that sounded frighteningly like Hillary’s rare non-screechy voice. But then they had her make a series of very poor decisions, and then die an ignominious death. Probably Bernie supporters?

Two – All I could think about on the friendly aliens was a combination of the ship from Heavy Metal, and the head of Marvin the robot from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy movie.

It shows how my mind is working this morning: I first read that as “the head of Lee Marvin”. It actually sounded interesting.
Yeah, this week I’ve had a webcomic person who I’ve enjoyed in the past veer awfully close to “I’m sorry I’ve given you money in the past” territory.
