So, hey, CD Projekt Red’s bringing an RPG to E3.

I wonder what it could possibly be?

More evidence has come to light that The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red may be gearing up to make some kind of announcement at E3 2018 next month.

The developer, which has already confirmed it will attend E3, is listed on the event’s website under the “RPG” category. Based on the listing, it appears the studio has an RPG for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC to talk about during the year’s biggest gaming show.

The article notes that CDPR has another AAA game that they’re working on — and that’s all we know about it.  So maybe it’s the other game, despite the fact that it’s probably not coming out until 2021 and Cyberpunk 2077 is supposed to be coming out next year.  Maybe. Possibly.  Not really. Well, no.  Not unless CDPR suddenly got addicted to trolling.  Remember, this was a company that gave out significant amounts of free DLC for Witcher: Wild Hunt; plus, they know what we all want to see.

[pause]

Well, that and another Witcher-style game.

  1. I think they also have the rights to the “Maid” RPG, so it might be that too.
