Heck, the smoking bit is why I figured it was all staged (and originally put this draft in Trash); but the NY Post did a followup on the interview of the guy with the cigarette, so if it is fake after all it’s a remarkably successful one. So apparently there’s still a bar out there where you can smoke. Go figure*.

*Yeah, there are probably tons, outside of BosWash and the Left Coast. It’s academic to me these days anyway. I quit smoking, geez, a decade and a half ago. Time, it doth fly.
