I think I may some comments about this at the next SCA baronial meeting. It’s not anybody’s fault on the baronial level, or even really the kingdom’s: but we’re far too reliant on Facebook. And I got a newsletter due tomorrow.

Facebook made some things easier. If, however, you don’t use it it quickly becomes an exercise in frustration to convince someone that you don’t use it and their insistence in using it is not reason enough to start.
Yes. I don’t use it, both for professional and personal reasons. I miss out on a few things but never anything that has made feel like I needed to change.
I expect a number of organizations will be having The Conversation about Facebook.

Yes, I expect they will. I expect the vast majority of them will end up shrugging their shoulders and doing nothing.
The ones that actually do something could be interesting.
I find it humorous, even ironic, that the SCA might suffer from a high tech vendor lock thralldom.
