I had to spend a large part of it running errands, and I have to attend a meeting tonight. It’s going to get increasingly busy for me over the next few weeks until this event is over, so I’m warning people now. Hopefully it’ll all get back to normal soon…

So, hey, running around and making sure that the spare room is neat and gibbering silently at the state of the kids’ bathroom; you know how this stuff goes. Still, always nice to have family members over, even if it’s just for a few days.  Good practice for talking to adults, if nothing else.

No, seriously.  There was a couple of years there where I had completely forgotten how to make vocal small talk with people over the age of five.  It was terrifying, in its way.  Especially when I caught myself avoiding situations where I would have to talk to adults, because of the social awkwardness involved. Thank God for roleplaying games, that’s all I can say.

I may not be able to keep to a schedule.  Which is weird; it’s only a Thursday.  But I suppose that it has to happen, from time to time…
