Thanks for the shout-out and everything, but I’m a well-known GOP party hack. Endorsing Scott Brown right out of the gate wasn’t exactly unsurprising for me.

Admittedly, it would have been a no-brainer anyway, but that’s just the serendipity talking.

  1. Actually, I think it was the party hacks who went all hopeless and limp and didn’t IMMEDIATELY realize the importance of Brown as the potential 41st vote. In contrast, impossible-odds-be-darned, you were among those who went right to work. We need more of that and it deserves to be spotlighted.
