Hey, I like alternate history and 1635: The Eastern Front has all sorts of interesting things going on in the margins. Besides, the more Eric Flint sells, the more likely he is to get the latest book in his Trail of Glory series published.

I liked the first few books in this series, but when it branched off into 3-4 different sequences, being published out of order it really lost steam, IMO. I’ve had this one on my Kindle as part of the October Webscription for about 3 weeks now and haven’t even been tempted to read it. Monster Hunter Vendetta, the sequel to Monster Hunter International, was also in that Webscription though, and it’s awesome.
