It was just okay, and makes much less sense if you don’t watch it right after Casino Royale. The villain is also one of the least memorable ever.
It sucked. It sucked hard. It sucked so hard, it made “Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull” look completely logical and a masterpiece when compaired.
For the Bond-film-literate, it did not reach the sucky suckage of “View to a Kill”, nor did it reach the heights of, say, “Goldfinger.” It, to me, was more of “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”; capable of great things, but not quite able to slip the surly bonds of earth…
it was pretty lame…bad plot…predictable.
I hated it. Worse Bond film outside of the Roger Moore oeuvre.
Speaking as a big-time Bond fan: “Quantum” suffers not only from a fairly ridiculous plot but is edited like a Bourne movie on speed. All of the flash cutting and rapid camera movements render the movie nearly unwatchable. Daniel Craig is a terrific Bond but I hope he gets a much better script and director next time around.
