@Moe: Then what’s the problem with making a movie based off the game? And jimf is right, Real Steel is based off the short story “Steel” by Richard Matheson.
BG5: Because the track record of games turned into movies, well, sucks.
But if it’s actually based on a Matheson story then that’s COMPLETELY different. Matheson writes great stuff (and, dammit, they should have kept the original ending to the latest I Am Legend).
