From TPM’s report about Current TV (it’s apparently a fringe Internet TV thing) dumping Olbermann:
In an open letter to Current viewers, the company’s founders, former Vice President Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, said the network’s values are “no longer reflected in our relationship with Keith Olbermann.”
OK. Well, if it’s about values, then…
Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who had recently filled in, will replace Olbermann starting Friday night, premiering his new program “Viewpoint.”
…Wait. What?
Moe Lane
I’m sure Current sees this as an improvement. Not sure how, but I’m Sure They Do.
You know what is great (besides that I now know how to spell “tuchis”)? It’s the fact that Olbermann is suing Algore and Current TV, with Olbermann promising that everything they said about him is wrong, wrong, wrong, and it will be proven in court.
This is gonna be a HOOT.
It’s so sad when two empty-headed buffoons engage in a battle of wits….
What do you expect from a crazed poodle? Birds of a feather and all that….
I get Current TV on my Dish satellite tv service, but that’s because I have the package that gives me all the non-porn non-PPV channels. It also means I get oddball channels like G4. (Ninja Warrior is oddly compelling.)
…who, now?
