I’m not sure how accurate it is, though: I recognized the passage that I was tasked to read. I’d take it again…

…but then I clocked in at reading at 856 words a minute, which is apparently 242% faster than the national average. I suspect that I won’t do much better; besides, I really do read books frighteningly quickly by most people’s standards.
I recognized it, too, and haven’t read that book in years (or sen the latest movie version.)
Similar score. Don’t you find it a nuisance sometimes, reading this fast? When one of my favorite authors has a new book out I want to savor it, but there’s no way I can look at a page and not have read it. As for traveling…! Before the Kindle half my luggage was throwaway paperbacks. Now at least on long trips I can read books I really like – and keep them.
mb: The nuisance level is real, but it’s definitely more than offset by the advantages.
