Seriously – and this goes for the Democratic lurkers clawing at the windows, too – relax, from time to time. Force yourself to relax, if necessary. At this point there’s almost nothing that can be done to affect the outcome, so practice your deep breathing and center your chi.

voting in my Republican leaning section of Maryland took an hour. Line was 10x longer than the one in 2008 when I voted in a much more Democrat dominated section of my city.

According to the spouse unit, the line at the polling place was long and just starting to go out the door but it was moving along pretty quickly. No sign of intimidation but there are a LOT of cops in that town who have the attitude of “bad things don’t happen in our area.”
