Do not get me wrong: 300 was a fun ride BUT the Spartans did not fight as depicted. They were famous for fighting in dense phalanx formation.
Well, at least the story was based on a graphic novel. When I see a movie claiming to be based on actual events, I usually say to myself: that’s right, that war actually did happen but the rest was made up.
