Healthcare.gov is down again. …UNEXPECTEDLY?

Unexpectedly?

The federal health-insurance exchange suffered an unexpected outage Friday morning just days ahead of a crucial enrollment deadline.

People logging on to the HealthCare.gov website received an error message that said: “The system is down at the moment. We’re currently performing scheduled maintenance. Please try again later.”

You keep using that word.  I do not think it means what you think it means*.

*Yes, I know that the word is usually “inconceivable.”  You forget, though: the Left watched The Princess Bride, too.  No way that they’re going to use that word in public, at this point.

    1. “scheduled maintenance” is the maintenance they preform when the system crashes for whatever reason.

Anybody have any stats on the actual uptime for that system so far.

I think that since 2009 as far as the government is concerned, “Unexpectedly” means: When reality and entropy encounter what we really, really, really want to happen.

  2. “Let’s look at this thing from a… um, from a standpoint of status. What do we got on the website that’s good?”*

    *Movie reference

    1. Yeah, but the good folks depicted in the movie were actually competent…and steely-eyed missile men.
