My communication skills have been horrible today. I blame the general lack of coffee and the kids discovering that we hadn’t forgotten about this entire church thing*. So I am taking it easy for a bit.

*It’s UU, and the understanding is that I go cheerfully and help my wife run herd on the kids until they get dropped off, and then I go cheerfully over to the McDonald’s. It works out.
Is that Unitarian? I go to UCC(wife’s church for at least 2 generations) nice group of people. But a little too much social and economic justice talk for me. I just keep repeating your rule, communism is intellectualism for stupid people.
Yeah, the UUs. Nice folks, so I usually skip out of stuff the first Sunday after Election Day. Win or lose.
Ah, the UUs. Interesting bunch. Their flower ceremony is sorta interesting, as is that they seem to have kept many of the old forms rather than becoming a rock band as a warm-up and closer for a motivational speaker.
