Jordan REALLY wanted IS to understand that women helped kill a lot of death cultists today.

Admittedly, I am basing that solely off of the video images, given that I don’t speak Arabic.  But when I watched this:

…I was left with the definite impression that Jordan desired that Islamic State (IS) really understood that female hands worked on the planes and set the bombs that reportedly killed 55 cultists in Mosul (including one of IS’s high priests).  I can’t see how that was anything except deliberate, in fact.  And God knows that IS is particularly brutal towards women*…

*I can’t help but notice that pretty much every group that fights IS for any length of time ends up recruiting women fighters.

  1. That’s because the IS fighters believe that if they’re killed by a woman they don’t get into heaven, do not pass go, do not pick up the 72 virgins, etc., whatever. Or so I heard on the news and who knows if they know what they’re talking about. But it does seem to be IS’s psychological Achilles heel.

  3. Psychological warfare depends on knowing the foes’ psychology. The Left’s work has been to cloud realization about who the Islamists are as they try to make everyone think that “West; Islamists – they are all the same” when that is very much not true. Sort of like Pres. Obama saying “Well, ISIS is bad, but – the crusades!” when one is happening now and the other about 1,000 years ago.

    No, Pres. Obama. If you can ever get your head out of the marxist post-colonial post-imperial claptrap you soaked up in undergrad, you could see the world as it is and not as some faculty bullcrapper wanted it to be.

    Alas, I think he is too close-minded to let new facts shake his world view. Pity for the world that he has a case of epistimological closure – or whatever the the Lefties were calling close-mindedness back when GWB was president.

  4. i wonder which would hurt ISIS more… bombs, or loading up planes with big ol tanks of pig blood and doing a crop-dusting thing….

    1. Imagine a big ol’ C-5 so configured… you could render vast swaths of the Middle East permanently uninhabitable to the enemy (granted, along with all other practicing Muslims) with just a handful of aircraft…

      1. Aside from it being highly rude to the aforementioned all other practicing Muslims (including the ones shooting at IS right now), let’s not overestimate the impact that this tactic might have. It’d mostly just piss them off while they’re looking for buckets of water.

        3. Part of why I added that caveat, Moe–devastatingly effective tactic that becomes an equally devastating strategic backfire.

          If you’re gonna use their porkophobia against them, better to do it with bacon-wrapped hollowpoints, burying dead jihadi in pigskin or just feeding ’em to the hogs.

          Hellm if they’re worried about keeping hands clean how many of us Westerners would enthusiastically volunteer for Hog Handling duty on that one?
