The Logan Act: an Acrostic Sonnet.

This may be getting out of hand.

Let all who read these words be struck with fear
Or better yet; be struck with bitter hate!”
Grown dank and grim from year to bitter year
As they begin to dimly see their fate;
No rosy dawn, no last, great victory
Are granted to those well-whipped, broken nags
Content to whine in self-pick’d slavery;
Taught well to fawn and beg for scraps and rags.
But still they know the truth! – The truth they’re fed,
Rammed down their brains, till all their thoughts have died.
Only left for them is sullen, pointless dread,
Kept here in check with ancient howl, “Bush Lied.”
Each one of them alone, out in the night.
Not trapped, however.  They chose this plight.

  1. Heh, nice! Somebody put in a great deal more effort than the buffoons are really worth, though… (Of course, IMO, their worth is negative)

  2. They really want to keep attention on this? It would be the best way of making sure that a bad agreement doesn’t come through. And – per the musical clip above – it is a great way of pointing out that Obama is a president, not a king.
