Speaking as a SSM supporter: stuff like this always bugs me.
She saw new polls. @ajjaffe

I mean, it’s not like you can trust Hillary Clinton, or any other hypocritical Democrat, on this issue. If the polls flip back, then so will she. In fact, Hillary Clinton probably will flip back on this, if it turns out that her support of same sex marriage will end up hurting her with African-American voters.
All in all, the SSM movement has put far too many eggs in this particular Supreme Court basket. We’d have been better off sticking with the legislatures – and I say that, knowing that the courts will likely reward the people that went through the courts. But what do I know? I’m a conservative who supports SSM. People on both sides line up to tell me why I’m wrong…
we have always been at war with Eastasia. and i think the court is just gonna toss it back to the states, where deeply closeted judges can make things happen.
Not only is it deeply hypocritical, its indicative of a tin-eared politician that she’d be willing to take the States determination policy as a Democrat in 2014. The party passed her by, and she didn’t either realize it, or didn’t care enough to pay lip service.
