Heck I finished the main story last week and I’m still playing it. Can’t wait for the DLCs.
*grumbles about empty budget for an XBONE to play it*

Dude. It’s a Bethesda game. PC or you’re doing it wrong. (you will need console commands to fix occasional brokenness)
Extensive time playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas on XBOX 360 .. and I’m definitely a wanderer – more time off the roads/rails than on .. – so brokenness is just part of the charm.
.
3 was better thought out than Vegas, but Vegas was a *lot* bigger.. especially once I went to Harry Reid’s hometown and jumped the wall ..

Hey Moe. Did you know that bobbleheads can raise stats permanently above 10?
NO I DID NOT KNOW THAT. Just like I did not know at first that you can use floor-foundation pieces to create motte-and-bailey castles, or that the radiation at the drive-in can be removed by going into construction mode and scrapping the damn barrels.
I would also point out, you can “cook” adhesive at the cooking station, and oil(cutting fluid) at the chemistry station…..
