…and if it can’t be good, at least let it be hilariously bad.
I’m a big Star Wars fan (my first memory as a 3 year old is my grandparents taking me and my brother to see the first movie in Brea, CA), and yet. I’m not in line. I don’t even have tickets, yet. I can’t see it this weekend, because 3 kids 6 and under and it’s Christmas and we’re not done shopping (though I have 21 items arriving from Amazon this week).
.
Because Star Wars *needs* to be released on Memorial Day weekend.
.
I’m excited about it. And can’t wait to go, but it’s going to be the Tuesday after the 25th.
I think the smart money is on “It won’t suck, it’ll be fun in an explodey sort of way, but it will be fairly PC.” It’ll be interesting to see how the people who have worked themselves into a frenzy react.
Look on the bright side, it’s got to be better than The Phantom Menace.
.
Of course, Manos Hand of Fate clears that particular hurdle.
…. barely.
.
I would very much enjoy watching Phantom Menace getting the MST3K treatment.
.
Mew
It has…
And it’s glorious.
