As noted here. Live-action, dated from 2002, and sans an actual Batman: it stars Oracle and Huntress, and apparently Black Canary? I haven’t watched the pilot yet, although I have it queued up at Amazon even as we speak. This is apparently the Earth-2 Huntress, which has implications that you’ll work out as soon as you watch the pilot (free if you have Prime). I find myself oddly fascinated by this show, on an quasi-intellectual level. What did the directors and writers think was important, back then?
Guess I’ll let you know.
Well, there were actually 2 pilots for this series. One of them had more voice over and was more explicit in “Hey! She’s Batman’s kid!” I can’t remember which one they ended up going with in the series. (It’s on the DVD bonus features, but my DVDs are like a 5 foot walk away. That’s too much work for me.)

My main issue with BoP was the lack of a character, but I won’t spoil. Oh, and I remember a scene in the finale with a TaTu song blaring during the fight, but that was mostly because of the brief rise of TaTu fascinates me.
IIRC, the main problem people had with it was the in-your-face GrrrlPower. Like Xena, but with less camp (read: fun).
I never saw this. I remember being very into Buffy at the time, what with its action and quips, and the promos for this just seemed too plodding for me. Had they made the Batman connection explicit in the promos I saw, I probably would have given it a chance.
I remember hearing ads for it on the radio, back in the day. I never checked it out, or learned about the Batman connection until read up on it years later.
.
When I did, though, I read they brought in Mark Hamill to voice the Joker, so that’s something.
