Found after the fold. The conceit behind “Excerpts From “An Oral History of the Rise of the Terran Empire”” might or might not be dodgy science fiction – we just do not know enough to be able to tell. But, hey, it’s pulp, right? I can get away with a lot when it comes to pulp.

Yeah, it’s pulp, but .. I happen to like pulp, and can say that this is *good* pulp. High intellectual fiber content and stuff.

It reminded me of what John Ringo’s Maple Syrup Wars would look like if, instead of maple trees, various yeasts were involved .. oh, and the writing was stripped *WAY* down .. almost to the point of being a drabble..
