Nice…Elvgren is a favorite and probably one of the few SFW pinup artists…but you just can’t beat the original with session bassist Bobby Ray laying down the bass line over Donovan’s guitar.

btw- Harvey Kubernik’s “Canyon of Dreams: The Magic and the Music of Laurel Canyon” is an entertaining retelling of the lightning in a bottle that was the 60’s & 70’s SoCal music scene (googlebooks has a searchable preview archive)
