You watch it, and you’re left with the feeling that you kind of understand better how everything works.  We should have gadget classes in high school.  A semester learning how a blender or a piston works would have been a much better bang for my educational buck than some of the stuff that I learned back then…

  2. My younger got TinkerCrates for Christmas – an engineering or science project every month in the mail. Last month was a a similar hydraulic project – worth signing up for when its age-appropriate.
