Corporal Overton is 111 years old today: he is America’s oldest living war veteran, and the GoFundMe is to give him sufficient funds so that he can continue to live at his home and receive care, instead of going to a nursing home. I kicked in, not least because I suspect that the nursing home would become tiresome about Corporal Overton’s whiskey and cigars*, and we can’t have that.
