You may have heard of the sudden and recent passing of RPG great Stewart Wieck. At the time of his death, Stewart was working on several projects, including fulfilling a Kickstarter for the Prince Valiant storytelling RPG. The folks at Nocturnal Media just announced that they will, of course, take over finishing up that Kickstarter. Obviously, it’s still sad news, but at least the game will still be coming out.

I’m part of that Prince Valiant Kickstarter, so I’m glad to hear that Nocturnal Media is going finish it, but…
DAMN it. He was 12 years younger than me.
I’ll be setting up a heart exam at my next doctor’s appointment this month, myself.
Off topic, but i didn’t want to comment on an old thread – got this reply today.
Dear Mr Nxxxxx,
Thank you for your enquiry and my apologies for this late reply.
The Gremlins manual by Percy Prune is indeed an often mentioned document, but I have never seen it myself.
I have been looking through the Tee Emms where I would expect to find this manual, but I have had no luck. The list of content of Tee Emms does not mention Gremlins.
Kind regards

I too suspect that it never existed, alas.

Link is to Roald Dahl’s concept book, I’m about halfway through the adult novel he wrote along the same lines.
Finally wrote that up for you.
Correction: strike East with respect to the Palouse, substitute West.
I had an excited child talking to me about getting the community festival.
.
I thought about including a bit about the passes over the Continental divide, but those were even farther afield than Coeur d’Alene.
Is this the same Prince Valiant that used to in the newspaper?
The very same.
