LOOK. That’s old-school, that is. Ollllllllllllllllllddddddddd sccchhhoooooooooooooooooollll. This is actually what I wanted. I wanted my toys to walk around and talk. I’m possibly most pumped about Soundwave and Ravage, in fact: if they’re in there and looking like the originals then the director has an aesthetic set up that I completely approve of. How nice it is to be pandered to. It should happen more often.

I was too young to see Transformers outside of reruns. I would watch this for nostalgia. I have tried to introduce my kids to Transformers, but the accessible options are horrible. Like mind-blowingly stupid horrible.
