It’s not that I object to a Rambo: Last Blood movie.
I just don’t get why people in those universes don’t put giant signs around Rambo’s farm or something saying IF YOU ATTACK THIS MAN, YOU AND EVERYBODY WHO YOU WORK WITH WILL DIE AT HIS HANDS. I mean, shoot: if somebody had simply embedded a tracker on John Wick that would ping a criminal’s cell phone with a THIS IS BABA YAGA, YOU WILL NOT BE WARNED AGAIN, AND IF YOU DIE WE WILL ALL LAUGH AT YOU text whenever he was within ten feet then a lot of revenue would not have subsequently been lost in those three movies.
I think Mr. Stallone is getting a little long in the tooth for such things. Clint Eastwood came to that conclusion much sooner, and continued in the movie business with a stellar directing career, only taking roles that made sense with his current age.
Hopefully this will resemble “Logan”, and poor John Rambo will finally find eternal peace.
