Looking for a quick street-level charity hit? Try #clearthelist!

My old buddy from The Before Time Joe Cunningham also happens to be a teacher, and he’s currently doing this #clearthelist thing. Basically, teachers put up their school supply needs* as an Amazon Wish List, and people go in and click off the items. Joe is using his Wish List to build a library of American history for his classroom, and you will peruse it in vain to find anything with the words “People’s History” in the title. It’s actually not a bad list, if you’re looking for stuff to read. I’ve got the Korean War book rattling around in the Kindle somewhere; it’s probably next on the list after I finish chewing through Grant’s memoirs.

Anyway, Joe’s a Righteous Dude, so if you feel inclined to donate something here go give a kid access to some non-corrosive history books instead.

My kid’s teacher wants 34 black expo markers as part of our school supplies list.
