Yes, but I don’t want to use the Wright Flyer to fight supervillains.
…OK, yeah, that came out silly. Of course I do want to do that. I just don’t think that it’d be practical without a longer flight time.

Now I’m imagining a caper movie set in the Smithsonian where someone actually has to do that…
This would work for any number of chase situations, especially in heist movies: use it to vault a wall (or train) or cross a canal, etc.
