DOCTOR SLEEP looks… better than I was expecting.
I’m half-tempted to read the book* now, in fact. My immediate reaction to the idea of going back to the Overlook Hotel was What, you don’t have napalm and a light plane to drop it from? Because, you know, tabletop roleplaying gamer. But there are legit reasons to keep something like that around, and “future trap for something nasty” actually qualifies. I mean, you don’t want to lock an ancient evil in with something that’s nice, right?

*Maybe I’ll get it out of the library, though. Or find it in a used bookstore, which are still reasonably common in my area.
I read a synopsis. It didn’t seem half bad. Details could ruin it of course, but from a high level, it seemed a decent tale.
That trailer became much more interesting when I realized it was a sequel.
I dunno. Stephen King turned into such a twit that I think I’ll pass.
