As it turns out, pineapple corers aren’t very expensive: $10-15.
So $20 to make one of these? I think I can make significantly spookier decorations out of $20 worth of pumpkins.
Have you also been infected by watching too much “Good Eats”? I don’t think I have ever heard anyone use “unitasker” except in that light.

I do, in fact, own a pineapple corer ..

Frozen is more convenient for pizza and bulk “ingredient pineapple”, but to get the pretty fresh display-rings, gotta use a corer.

You may be thinking “why would I want to core a quart of ice cream?” The answer is .. because it’s too cold to easily scoop.
