I’m not really exaggerating: that’s how Rotten Tomatoes is describing TERMINATOR: DARK FATE.
“Termehnator?” Anyway, they’re trying to reset away from a bunch of unfortunate sequels. Sometimes that works (HALLOWEEN). And sometimes it doesn’t (SUPERMAN RETURNS). I’m going to be very interested in what the audience itself thinks of this film, especially since I don’t know whether anybody was eager for a reboot in the first place. I wasn’t, particularly. Then again, I wasn’t expecting as high a critic score at 67% for this project..
Since RT and the studios cherry-pick the advance critics, the score is pretty meaningless. And as the last four years have proved that it isn’t corporately permitted to be an actual critic of a female-lead film they’re all PR shills to boot
