More of the same, really:
- Three chapters revised. Ten chapters and an epilogue to go.
- First set of artists contacted about rates and availability for book covers. I’ve gotten some responses back; I won’t be in a position to sign a contract or anything until probably the end of March, but best to put it on their radar early. I think that I’m reasonably budgeting for cover art, but we’ll see. Thank goodness for Patreon.
Things that still have to be done:
- Generate additional word count to the book (roughly 29K words).
- Another pass-through to Wife Alpha-Reader.
- Having Beta Readers.
- Sell the book to a publisher. OR
- Figure out how to make a book ready for Kindle (I’m assuming it’s gonna be this one). AND
- Kickstarter (tentative plan). AND
- Learn how to market a book.
:brightly: It’s a learning process!
I volunteer for beta-reader. I can do some light copy-editing, too; if necessary (I imagine it won’t be, but another set of eyes, yada yada…) Let me know your terms.
I’d love to be a beta reader.
