At the risk of sounding political, I can’t help but think it amazing how many marketing devices and surveys of this sort seem a vain attempt to go beyond the Roman technology of attempting to discern the future by reading the entrails of slaughtered goats. @_@
There’s far less than meets the eye. The purpose of this program is not whether a film should be green lite, but WHEN the film should be release to maximize return. Hollywood already have people doing this, WB is trying to find out if they can outsource that function to computer.

Honestly, nothing we have now passes muster for the term “artificial intelligence”. This XKCD actually gives a pretty good take on what the actual state of machine learning is.
Right down to “artificial intelligence” being pretty bad at being intelligent. Mostly it should be called “machine high-speed guessing”.
