06/15/2020 Progress Report, FROZEN DREAMS.

The first day went… well, we had some sales. A few. It’s been a helpful corrective, in fact: up to this point I have been rolling critical successes on funding, left and right. Having it brought to my attention that I will not be selling several thousand copies between now and Friday should do wonders to manage my expectations*.

It helps that things are going really well, too. If all things work out, the book will be available in paperback by the end of the week. At least on Amazon. Barnes & Noble might take longer, because I’m also finishing up getting FROZEN DREAMS on Smashwords. Which will mean that I might be able to get the books out before the end of the month. Probably not, but July is a lot earlier than September. The advantages of success, and all that.

PS: To help? Well, pass along the link, review the book once you read it, let me know about places I can interview, that sort of thing. It’s gonna be a slog, no two questions about it.

*Not that I’d object.

  1. I enjoyed the book very much, and said so in a review on Amazon. I hope that helps.

Until I can order a couple paperback gift copies – I randomly send books to people, I’m that sort of uncle y’see – there’s not much else I can do .. I will not be buying 1,000 copies, I’m not *that* sort of uncle**.

    1. We are finishing up the last pass-through on the print version, and I’m hoping that the print book will be ready by Friday. I need to order a hundred or so copies myself, you see. 🙂
