I just watched a teaser for the upcoming Xbox gen, and the lead dev and lead programmer were talking about efficency, being user friendly, using better coding of system *software* to reduce load times, and how the new UI was going to have a 40% smaller footprint.
That all sounds pretty good!
It is.
Completely.
Totally.
Utterly.

But M$ has been infamous for bloatware since Windows 3.11. Up to and including recommending that you get a new computer with a new OSv license because their updates have made your old one borderline unusable.
Crud, that’s a good point. Maybe it’s a doppelganger?

Although, wait: do we really have to *do* anything, if it’s a doppelganger? No sense doing something drastic right away, surely…
