  1. It’s a flagrant-to-the-point-of-absurdity Illegal Participation violation. That’s what it is.

  2. Didn’t count, per ESPN:

    I think the Cal-Stanford “Band is on the Field” play might be the only time this has actually worked.

    Then there’s this one where it worked and then it didn’t (unfortunately the video title spoils the twist at the end)
