  1. Managing expectations is the most important thing on the list. Manage the living daylights out of those things. Take all those expectations and put them in your Happy Box. Then lock the box and drop it in a hole at least seven feet deep. Lay your rebar, and then pour a concrete slab over the box. As a final precaution, mount two Browning M2 .50 Caliber machine guns in an automated turret, and set it to keep you away from those expectations.

    After that, you should be fine.
