…Just how many of my Patreon patrons use the Apple app, anyway?

Is there some way to check? I mean, my Patreon uses a $1 base level, so it’s not as infuriating to me as it’d be to some creators. The subscription model is more annoying, but it’s more annoying to me. If my patrons don’t actually care about that, then that’s livable. But if nobody is buying subscriptions via iOS anyway, then why should I change at all?

    1. Today I learned that the iPhone Patreon app doesn’t want to let me comment on Moe’s post in the app…. just hangs.

I forget what prompted me to install it. The only thing it does is let me know when Moe content drops.

      1. I know I’m gonna hear an earful about this tomorrow at a Zoom meetup I do with other TTRPG Patreon creators. 🙂 I just don’t know how much of it is gonna really be personally relevant to me.

  1. I gave my two cents on the thread. Guessing it will be zero effect unless someone *only* uses the app, but the app has no inherent value other than not clicking a bookmark in a browser…
