Tintin becomes public domain the year as well.

You, Moe, could be the one to do it.
I don’t know TinTin well enough to write it.
That’s a legitimate reason to hold off.
But it does make me wonder how many volumes of TinTin would be required to know it well. Wikipedia says there are 24 comic volumes. Hmm.

There are only 24 books and they are not big.
You could knock that out in…3 days? And you can take notes and it will be fresh in your mind
You already know Lovecraft.
You could have this on Kickstarter and ready to fulfill in time for horror season in the Fall.

I already have the next book planned for after I finish the current next book.
Tintin himself is, but Captain Haddock isn’t yet, he was introduced in 1941.
I figure it’d be easier for the company that does TinTin to contract out the work.
